Over the years as a pro makeup artist, I have worked with many faces – each unique, beautiful and full of personality. And if there is one thing that I’ve learned, it is that so many people want more than just a finished makeup look – they want to understand their own face, feel confident using their own products, and enjoy the process of doing makeup for themselves. That’s exactly why I started offering group makeup workshops in Queenstown.
My workshops are something I have poured my heart into. It is not only just a lesson, but an experience. Whether you are a complete beginner, stuck in a rut with the same makeup routine you have had for years, or someone who always wanted to know what suits you, this is your chance to learn in a fun, supportive environment with your girls where no question is too small and no skill level is too basic.
Each session is designed to feel personal and empowering. I offer both 1:1 sessions and small group bookings of between 2-6 ladies, so you can choose the setting that suits you best. In group settings, it often becomes a fun, shared moment – perfect for birthdays, hens’ weekends or just an excuse to do something different with friends. I’ll bring the drinks, mirrors, brushes and makeup – you can bring your excited self!
I always begin talking about the skin, because great makeup starts with a healthy, well-prepped base. I will show you how to tailor your skincare to your skin type, and we’ll simplify your routine so you know exactly what products serve you best. From there, we go step-by-step through the makeup application process – everything from creating a flawless base, blending eyeshadow with ease, and taking your makeup look to the next level.
One of the biggest surprises for many people is what they learn about their own products. You are welcome to bring your personal makeup bag along, and I’ll help you sort through what works for you. I also provide testers of professional products during the session if you want to try something new. It’s not about selling, it’s about helping you make the most of what you have and guiding you towards products that truly suit your skin tone, preferences, and lifestyle.
You will each leave with your own custom face chart and instructions so you can recreate everything we do together at home. My goal is for you to walk away not just looking great, but feeling confident in your own ability to enhance your features.
